Using Online Genealogical Resources

Join us for a class presented by Dr. Constance Ace of Ace Genealogy Research and Consulting!

This course moves beyond the introductory level to explore various online resources for genealogical research. Upon completion of this course students will be able to:

* Evaluate various software options for constructing and storing family trees and other genealogical data.

* Explore a variety of online data sources and learn to search for relevant information

* Learn to document their online findings

* Generate charts and reports from their family data.

* Avoid some of the common mistakes most researchers make when using online sources.

We will explore some of the most popular software programs and allow time for hands-on use. A laptop capable of wi-fi connection will be helpful but is not required.
