Dan Sickles: a true American Scoundrel - a historical re-enactor

Dan Sickles was quite a 19th century phenomenon. He was a general who disobeyed orders at Gettysburg, lost his leg and then sent it to the Smithsonian Museum. He was a congressman, who shot and killed his wife's lover and got off scot-free. He was an Ambassador, who carried on a love affair with the Queen of Spain.
