No experience necessary. Bring your ideas for a book, or borrow ours.                                                 Session 1: Origami Books                                                                                                                            Paint & design paper                                                                                                                                      Learn to create numerous soft cover and hard cover books                                                                      Design a memory album to take home

Session 2: Altered book clutch or stash                                                                                                       Use cast off library books and fabric to create a modern book clutch or safehold.

Session 3: create an Altered Art and Poetry Book, using “found text” as poetry and drawing and printed images.

Session 4. Book Art display for library

Work to create a public display of ways to play with books. Learn to be a proper “curator,” stage an exhibit, create text and visuals for an eye-grabbing display. Of course, loan a few of your own art works for viewing! Exhibit will be hosted by the Northampton Township Public Library.
