Join us for a fun afternoon filled with picture books! From a choice of 15 books published in 2017, children will be able to rate what book they think has the best illustrations. We will discuss what the Caldecott looks for and what the medal means. For kids in grades K-6. Snacks and juice will be served! 

The Caldecott and Newberry award winners are usually announced at the end of January and this program will help highlight the recent winners and demonstrates to children what makes those winners truly stand out.
