We’ll be playing with chalk on the front sidewalk. For ages 4-8 and their families. (Weather permitting)

Chalk play enhances academic knowledge, improves fine motor skills, and encourages a love of the arts. Cahlk can be used to teach children about colors, shapes, letters and numbers. By having the children draw with chalk we are encouraging them to use the fine motor skills that will later develop into early writing skills. Writing is one of the 5 early literacy practices.
