Some authorities consider the narrative found in a short story nearly as old as language; it is a brief, written literary genre, which many find satisfying to read. Discover the art of writing fiction during the Short Story Workshop, a nine-week writing series, with local writer Regina McIntyre (An Altar of Sod and Yesterday’s Pupils) beginning Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 10:30 am at the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe Street. Learn how to structure a story and plot, develop dialogue and tension among characters, set the story scene, and much more. Registration is limited for this free event. For further information or to register, call 215.788.7891, or visit www.grundylibrary.org.

This program is offered by Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library in support of the PA Forward | Pennsylvania Libraries initiative. Libraries are key to powering progress and elevating the quality of life in Pennsylvania by fueling the types of knowledge essential to success: Basic Literacy, Information Literacy, Civic and Social Literacy, Health Literacy, and Financial Literacy.
