Summer Quest Teen Volunteer Orientation

Calling All Teens!

Do you need volunteer hours? Are you looking to gain experience for a job? Want to add something else to your college application?
Then consider volunteering at the Quakertown Library this summer!

We need teen volunteers to help us with our Summer Quest programs for children during the months of June & July. We'll also have volunteer opportunities during August & through the end of the school year as well.

Who is eligible?

Any teen entering 7th through 12th grade can sign up to volunteer at the library!

How do you sign up?

Join us for one of our Summer Quest Teen Volunteer Orientations being held on Monday, June 4th at 7:30pm, Thursday, June 7th at 7:00pm and Saturday, June 9th at 1:00pm.

During the orientation we'll go over the procedures for volunteering at the library and what types of programs you'll be able to volunteer for. We ask that all teen volunteers fill-out an application before starting their first volunteer shifts. This application will be available to fill-out at the orientation or you can pick one up before any of the orientaitions.

Teen volunteers who attend each orientation will also be able to sign up for volunteer shifts during the orientation. Sign-ups will be limited at each orientation so that all attendees have an eqaul chance to sign-up for volunteer shifts. Once the orientations have finished, teens will be able to sign up for as many shifts as they'd like on a first come first serve basis.

If you have any questions feel free to reach out to the library at 215-536-3306 & ask for our Youth Services Librarian, Miss Nicole.
