June's Movie Matinee theme is Summer Abroad. This week we'll be showing Roman Holiday (1953; PG; 1 hr 59 mins). Roman Holiday is a fun romantic comedy, but stays realistic with its commentary on society and royalty. A disillusioned princess escapes the drudgery of her uneventful duties leaving the life she has known for the unknown.
