The Free Library of Northampton Library is hosting a public education program on reforming Pennsylvania’s redistricting process. Fair Districts PA speaker Rich Rafferty will explain PA’s current redistricting process, demonstrate how it has undermined democracy, and then offer a solution to the problem. Rich will also discuss the legislation and roadblocks in Harrisburg and FDPA’s strategy going forward.

This program conforms to the guidelines set by CMS for Educational Only programming and meets PA Forward's Civic and Social and Information literacies.  There will be no salespeople present, no forms to complete, and Fair Districts PA will not receive a list of program attendees.

Fair Districts PA is a non-partisan coalition of citizens and organizations seeking to reform PA redistricting rules by ensuring that the process is impartial, transparent, and accountable.
