Interested in helping your public library and getting involved in your community this summer? Apply to be a Summer Quest volunteer! We're looking for volunteers ages 12 - 17 (grades 7 - 12) who can commit to volunteering at least 2 hours a week for the 8 weeks of our Summer Quest program (June 15 - August 10 ). Volunteer tasks include assisting a librarian during craft and game programs for children, guiding families as they arrive for performances, helping participants of all ages check in at the Summer Quest table, and keeping the library clean and organized. We let you choose the task that is right for you! To volunteer, please fill out the application on our website here, and attend one training session in May or June. You'll sign up for your volunteer dates during your training session, so please know your availability when you attend. We hope to see you at the library this summer!
