Join our INCLUSIVE book club as we all read books about JUNK FOOD!
Introducing the Diverse-Ability Book Club: Join us for a monthly gathering aimed at fostering inclusivity and connection within our community! Led by Librarian Tara, who specializes in disabilities, our book club offers individuals (14 and up) with neurodiverse abilities and neurotypical patrons a welcoming space to come together and discuss books chosen around a different topic each month.
Examples of topics or themes might include: Neurodiversity Awareness, STEM, and puppies. Our 90 minute-long meetings promote social integration, empathy, and literacy skills development. We’re excited to create meaningful connections and build a more inclusive community through the shared love of reading!
