Join us as we explore the fascinating world of fungi! Kevin Popowich of the Philadelphia Mycology Club will discuss fungal anatomy, key identifying features, and their ecological significance. This presentation aims to inspire the community to reimagine their favorite greenspaces and hiking trails through the world of mushrooms.

Kevin is an Ecological Risk Assessor who volunteers with the Philadelphia Mycology Club, a local non-profit, building community around fungal education and conservation in hopes of inspiring others to embrace and defend public greenspaces through the lens of mushrooms. 

This program fulfills the Health Literacy for PaLA's PA Forward Gold Star program. There will be no salespeople present, no forms to complete, and the presenter will not receive a list of program attendees.
