David Barto has performed as Thoreau hundreds of times, including every summer for 12 years at Thoreau's famous home at Walden Pond in Massachusetts. 

Thoreau will speak about his upbringing, love of nature, experiences at Walden Pond, and his views on civil disobedience, among other aspects of his life.
