Join us for Read & Roar, where letters come to life. This is an exciting library program for PreK–2nd graders all about sounds and words! We’ll explore phonics themes using children’s books, sound games, and hands-on activities. The beginning half of the program will start as a circle time where we will talk about the themes and go over the topics as a group to help us learn. The second half of the class focuses on learning through play using games and hands-on crafts and activities.

The goal of the program is to help kids master their ABCs and early reading skills. Perfect for curious young readers ready to learn and play!

• Week 2: Capitals vs. Lower Case Letters
• Week 3: Vowels and Consonants
• Week 4: Syllables
• Week 5: Blending Sounds
• Week 6: Rhymes
• Week 7: Word Families

We will be utilizing ideas and lesson plans from Read Not Guess.
