Join us and the Friends of Tyler State Park as we celebrate October Big Day by observing and recording various bird sightings in Tyler State Park! Participants will learn how to use the Merlin and ebird apps to help identify and record the birds they will possibly see during a short hike. These recordings will help create a snapshot of the birds found in the park and contribute to scientific data that helps scientists study bird populations, migration, and behavior, contributing to important bird conservation efforts.
