Read & Roar: Phonics Story Time
Event box
Join us for Read & Roar, where letters come to life. This is an exciting library program for PreK–2nd graders all about sounds and words! We’ll explore phonics themes using children’s books, sound games, and hands-on activities. The beginning half of the program will start as a circle/ story time where we will talk about the letter sound relationships and go over words that make up those sounds. The second half of the class focuses on learning through play using games and hands-on crafts and activities.
The goal of the program is to help kids master their ABCs and early reading skills. Perfect for curious young readers ready to learn and play!
