Do you have a family heirloom that you'd like to proudly share with others in a show and tell? The local Questers chapter is hosting a Keepsake Roadshow where you can do just that! Questers is a national organization with local chapters dedicated to keeping history alive through education, preservation of meaningful places, and funding restoration projects, including scholarships and fellowships in the field of historic preservation. The local chapter is partnering with staff to host this special Keepsake Roadshow.

At a Quester chapter meeting, the members will have a "Show and Tell." They will bring a special object, and tell the other members what they know about the object - its place in history and its use. This Keepsake Roadshow is a variation of one of those meetings.

Attendees will introduce themselves, show the treasure they brought, and share a brief story about its significance to them. If interested, you will be able to get informatio about joining the Questers in their mission of supporting the preservation and restoration of local historic sites while educating Questers members and the public about our nation's history.

Please ensure the item you bring can be easily transported by you into the library.

There will be no salespeople present, no forms to complete, and the presenter will not receive a list of program attendees.

This program fulfills the Information Literacy for PaLA's PA Forward Gold Star program.
