My Heritage is an important genealogical resource giving you access to historical records as well as its new project, Old News, containing newspapers from around the world. It can also provide the ability to create family trees and to do DNA testing with the accompanying matching and ethnic origins. An additional feature is the ability to enhance, edit, colorize or animate photos. Used by many people in Europe and other locations around the world it has a somewhat broader international focus than Ancestry. Although it a subscription resource it is available free online via the public library.
