After school STEM Program: Propellers (For students in grades 1-6 ONLY!)
Event box
STEM Activity:
How does a helicopter fly? How does a speedboat go fast?
Come learn about propellers and how they work in this interactive, hands-on presentation.
Presented by StemStrong (CRN HS students: Dillon & Avi)
Rebecca Hone will be on-site to assist the teens with the students.
The teen volunteers will provide a brief introduction on the engineering behind propellers, followed by a hands-on activity demonstrating the principles taught.
Registration is required and space is limited to 8 students. Please register using your CHILD's name, rather than yours. Thank you!
WES students may be escorted by Rebecca Hone from the school to the Village Library after school. Be sure to send a note to WES office staff giving permission for Rebecca Hone to do so. Students should be picked up at the Village Library at 5:00 PM.
Also, if your child gets hungry after school, you may want to send a snack!
