Wear your dancing shoes and join us as dance instructor Donna Hendel leads a program on some basic Israeli dancing steps to well-loved Israeli dances. It is geared for those who may not have folk danced before. Get ready for fun!

Donna Hendel has been folk dancing most of her life. She's performed all over the world. Currently, Donna teaches International Dance and Vintage Israeli Dance.

This program fulfills the Civic and Social Literacy for PaLA's PA Forward Gold Star program. The Free Library of Northampton Township is one of 40 public libraries selected from across the country to participate in the Yiddish Book Center's Public Libraries program and this year the theme is Between Two Worlds. Presented as part of the Yiddish Book Center's Public Libraries Program, in partnership with the ALA and funded by the Lilly Endowment, Inc.
