The shifting tectonic plates played such a huge role in prehistoric life! In this class we are going to discuss the basics on tectonic plate theory, how do these plates move, and broadly how they impacted history. Following our discuss, we will allow the children to build structures on top of Jell-O to see if their buildings can withstand the force of tectonic plates shifting.
Every child will walk away learning something new about tectonics plates and some delicious Jell-O.
