To celebrate America's 250th birthday, search the library for the 13 colonies and collect a start from each of them to add to your Betsy Ross Flag handout! Return the completed activity to receive a small prize at the Information Services Desk! 

For reference we have used the current state borders not what the colonies actually looked like in 1776. Refer to the back of the handout for a picture of what the colonies looked like during the Revolutionary War. This not only teaches kids about which states were in existence during the Revolutionary War, but also reaches kids about what each state currently looks like.
