Warminster at the Crossroads of the American Revolution

Come see the Historic 1701 Land Deed signed by Philadelphia's first elected Mayor. The 224-acre deed, encompassing land at today's York & Street Roads, has been recently re-discovered by staff of the Warminster Library in Bucks County.

To help us celebrate the saving of this historic artifact, local historian and writer, Patrick Michael McFadden, will give a presentation on the research behind the land deed and the importance of The Old York to the founding of our country in 1776.

McFadden is the author of An American Tale of Freedom's Promise (2020).
