Event box

Get excited about medicine and health habits! This student-led interactive program for children explores concepts in medicine and health awareness.

Ever wondered how your brain controls everything you do—from remembering your favorite song to moving your hand and solving a problem? In this Mini-Med School workshop, we’ll explore the fascinating world of the brain and nervous system through interactive, hands-on activities! Students will learn about different parts of the brain and play games that challenge their reaction speed, memory, and strategic thinking to use every part of their brains. We’ll also discover how our brains interpret optical illusions and learn why our eyes and brains can sometimes be fooled. To finish, students will get creative and create some optical illusions of their own!
