The American Swedish Historical Museum presents a rocking program that will have the kids dancing and singing to the music of Sweden. They will get an introduction to classical opera, traditional folk, ABBA, and the Swedish musicians of today. Children will explore Swedish culture and how music is integrated into daily life and holiday traditions while performing an opening operatic warm-up, collaborative choral song,  and a folkdance finale. The children will make a take-home craft of a "naaverlur" a Swedish horn instrument and keep the fun times rolling on the ride home with a FREE take-home CD of traditional and contemporary Swedish music!
