Ancient Egyptians, especially royals, appreciated the beauty of jewelry just as much as we do today. While most people are familiar with the famous solid gold funerary mask of King Tutankhamun, many people are unaware of the spectacular array of jewelry that spans virtually all of ancient Egyptian history. This richly illustrated lecture brings to life the world of ancient Egyptian jewelry, and how, in many cases, we are supposed to read it. This lecture literally drips in gold!
