Two educators trained at Jefferson University Mindfulness Institute proudly offer a free introductory class to those 16 years of age and up. Both introductory classes are similiar so you only need to attend one. These introductory classes will help gauge interest and commitment for the five additional sessions. Please attend one introductory class, as that will determine whether we host the additional five sessions.
If there is sufficient interest, we will offer five free sessions which will explore instruction, dialogue, and practice that will allow participants to apply mindfulness to their daily lives. Mindfulness is the ability to pay attention moment to moment in our lives without judgment. It is a kind, gentle, non-directive approach which allows us to better deal withthe stressors and pressures in our everyday world.
