A dormant volcano under Isla Nublar threatens the lives of all of the dinosaurs left behind at the Jurassic World theme park several years after the events that resulted in its full-scale evacuation. The parks former velociraptor trainer, Owen Grady, and former manager, Claire Dearing, have moved on as much as possible. Claire has started an organization, the Dinosaur Protection Group, designed to help preserve the majestic creatures. With the discovery of the active volcano, she asks Owen to help her evacuate the dinosaurs. Owen hopes that he can find his beloved velociraptor Blue and protect the dinosaurs from future experimentation. His goals though must change when he discovers details related to a conspiracy that could lead to the destruction of the human race.

Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of science fiction violence and peril.
