June 6, 2019 marks the 75th anniversary of Operation Overlord, the amphibious invasion of north west France on June 6, 1944, the largest seaborne assault ever conducted. The operation nearly failed. Paul Zigo, director of the World War II Institute, joins us for a fascinating presentation on this critical time in world history. Free. Made possible through the generosity of the Friends of the Library. Please register.
