Crafting is fun, relaxing, and great for making social connections. While trying a new craft may be expensive, a great way to cut costs is to trade supplies, materials, and tools. You’re invited to join us for the 2nd annual Craft Supply Swap at the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe Street, next month. How is a swap organized? First, donated craft supplies will be accepted on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm, and on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Second, with any donated craft supply individuals receive a VIP ticket for early entrance the day of the swap. Last, the swap is Saturday, February 9, 2019 (snow date: February 16, 2019) with doors opening for VIP ticket holders at 10:00 am; the swap opens to the general public at 10:30 am and continues until 2:00 pm, or until all supplies are gone. Bags will be provided and any unclaimed supplies will be donated to charity. Call 215.788.7891 for more information, or visit the Grundy Library online at www.grundylibrary for a list of suggested craft supplies.
