Have you ever wondered how a robot knows what to do? Or how websites communicate with you? Learn the answers to these questions and a whole lot more...all without ever touching a computer screen! We’ll teach you all the fundamentals of coding through games, crafts, and all sorts of activities, such as building an art robot or making your own Minecraft monster.
For grades 1-5. Online registration required for each program date.
Tonight's program: Art-based Coding! Learn how to start thinking computationally by building your own robot.
Programs presented on Saturday are repeat programs from the program presented earlier in the week.
Those who have attended the program in the past are more than welcome to repeat the program, especially if they missed a week!

Feb. 4: Follow the Rules: Learn how code represents space and images, and about the rules that make computers do specific things. Activities include a small Minecraft paper activity for fans of the game!
Feb. 11: Working Robots: Join us as we make paths for robots to learn more about how algorithms work.
Feb. 16 (Saturday): Working Robots: Join us as we make paths for robots to learn more about how algorithms work.
Feb. 21 (Thursday): Algorithms: Learn how programmers use algorithms to give programs directions.
March 4: Conditionals: Learn how programmers account for all the different things that come up when people use their programs.
March 11: Using Binary: Learn the language that computers use to communicate!
March 16 (Saturday): Using Binary: Learn the language that computers use to communicate!
March 18: Art-based Coding: Learn how to start thinking computationally by building your own robot.
