You’re invited to attend a presentation titled After the Myers: African Americans in Levittown, Pennsylvania; the Civil Rights Movement-1966 presented by historian Ms. Amelia J. Wiggins in conjunction with the African American Historical and Cultural Society of Bucks County. Starting at 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe Street, Ms. Wiggins’ lecture will touch on local African-American history as it pertains to Levittown, the Great Migration, workforce opportunities, veterans, civil rights, and the role of the NAACP organization; a Q & A session follows the lecture.
