The late 1930’s through the 1940’s are referred to as the “Golden Age of the American Song Book.” This is a fun and nostalgic look at a musical sentimental journey back to the singers and big bands that had America “jumpin & jivin” in theaters, ballrooms and dance halls.
This is an all new program of music. With power point photos as a backdrop, CD’s of the original singers and bands and highlighted by many original World War II era 78 rpm records, patriotic music, sentimental songs, comic melodies and music that has been woven into the fabric of our American culture are presented.
