June 28 marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots---the day when the LGBTQ community pushed back against a police raid at the Stonewall in and the gay rights movement began. This documentary visits a time when homosexuality was illegal in America and told by those who took part in the protests from drag queens to street hustlers to police officers to the former mayor of New York City. All are welcome to join us. Free popcorn!
