Mindfulness Meditation: We are welcoming back for the 3rd time,  Georgia Larounis, who has spent her life as an educator of children. More recently, she trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction at the Jefferson University Mindfulness Institute. She has graciously offered to, once again, share her knowledge and experience with our library community.

"Mindfulness is the ability to pay attention moment to moment in our lives without judgement. It is a kind, gentle, non-directive approach which has the potential to help anyone cope with the day to day stressors and pressures of our present, fast-paced, busy world. In contrast, mindfulness offers us the opportunity to just "be" in the midst of our "doing" life."

If this interests you, please consider joining us for this series of workshops that meets for 5 consecutive weeks in October.
