Like libraries, podcasts are a free source of news and entertainment. Learn more about this fascinating media when local podcaster Ronnie Palmieri, of Bristol Pod Works, presents Accessing Podcasts for News and Entertainment at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe Street. Mr. Palmieri discusses the many types of podcasts available for your personal computer or smartphone and more. Learn exactly what a podcast is; the top podcasts you have probably heard of (and some you have not); the best apps to use for every device; how to browse categories and sort through reviews to find podcasts about your interests; and, lastly, how to subscribe. This free event is appropriate for ages 10 and older. Register online at grundylibrary.org, or by calling 215.788.7891.

This Information Literacy event is offered by the Margaret R.
