Nutrition Links: Eating Better for Less
Join us for a series of five classes titled, Nutrition Links, on eating better for less with Penn State Extension’s Nutrition Education Adviser Darlene Holloman at the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe Street. Ms. Holloman combines learning with fun for the series beginning at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 and continuing April 22, 2020; April 29, 2020; May 6, 2020; and May 13, 2020. Participants will learn how to eat healthy on a limited budget, plan low-cost meals that are fast and easy to make, learn to keep food safe to eat, and sample new healthy foods. Parents or adult caregivers of a child up to 19 years old and who qualify for one of the following: free or reduced school lunch, WIC, SNAP benefits, food pantry boxes/bags, and Pennsylvania Farmers Market Vouchers are eligible to participate in this free workshop series.
