A rather short time ago in human history, people went out from their established homes, pushing their technology to its very limits to explore, settle and ultimately make their homes in new mysterious territories. Today we live in an age where humankind will again set out to do the same thing. However, this time the new territories will be off of the Earth. NASA is actively developing technology and a plan for a viable  permanent human presence on the Moon. Our program will look at some of the challenges involved in developing and operating a settlement on the moon. We will discuss what it will be like to be among the first settlers on the moon.  This is a Zoom event.  Register to receive Zoom link.
