Join us for our DIY Series! Come to one or come to all! 

November DIY: Mozzarella

Kits are available to pick up at the library on a first come, first serve basis for those registered, on November 2nd, one week prior to the class.

Materials Provided:

• Citric Acid
• Vegetable Rennet
• Salt
• Cheese Cloth
• Recipe

Please bring to the class the following: 

• One gallon of milk (no ultra-pasteurized)
• stock pot (or another big pot) with lid
• colander (preferred) or bowl
• thermometer (contact the library if you do not have a cooking thermometer)
• measuring cups (1 cup and 1/4 cup)
• Big spoon (slatted preferred)
• microwave safe bowl
• rubber gloves (optional)
• water (non-chlorinated if possible, like springwater)
