Like science? Are you thinking engineering is in your future? You’re invited!

Public libraries and members of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) from across the country are participating in an exciting virtual engineering experience this November called Dream, Build, and Create. It is an introduction to engineers and engineering for people of all ages, especially families and children (4th grade and up).

This inspirational program offers people a free film screening of the award-winning documentary Dream Big: Engineering Our World on November 10, 14, 17, and 24. In addition to the film, ASCE is organizing several virtual panels in November where patrons can join live conversations with our Dream Teams of young, diverse engineers. Dream Teams will include Cities of the Future, Women in Engineering, Black Engineers, and even a Spanish-language Dream Team. Check back for these panel discussion event dates.

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is partnering with the STAR Library Network (STAR Net) and its Project BUILD engineering program. Project BUILD is supported by the National Science Foundation.

Watch the film Dream Big: Engineering Our World online at any time on the specified date. The code is good for a 24-hour period.
