Folk music has had a vital role throughout American History in creating community through song, story, and dance. This interactive and entertaining musical experience explores the rich history of folk music, from a few traditional favorites to good old rock and roll, playground songs, and jump rope games and dances. Dave Fry makes this distinctly American music a creative, contemporary, and accessible art form-and everyone will be dancing and singing in the end. Great for grades K-6.
