Peace Valley Nature Center: Lenape Indians

LENAPE STORIES & GAMES: Native American Storytelling
 
Native Americans were game players and toy makers. Students will play games of skill and chance. They will make up a game using natural objects, listen to a Native American story and discuss its meaning. We will read a story using pictographs.
 
GRADES:  2-6
Time: ~ 1 hour

 
  • This program will be held outside, weather permitting. Should it rain or be too wet to do the program outside, all registrants will be contact via email 60 minutes for the program's start time. In the event of rain this program may be rescheduled or brought inside.
