Soft Skills Seminar: Research Skills
In this educational seminar, children will learn valuable 21st century researching skills. These are vital in today’s day and age as in both a school and work environment, people need to be able to efficiently find and compile information online. Children will learn effective researching techniques to help them all the way through college, and play games to have fun while learning.
In a research game, the kids will have an animal and write 3 sentences describing its diet, habitat, and one more fact of the childrens’ choice. They will have to cite their sources and this game will have the children exercise the skills they learned throughout the seminar.
Ages: Grades K-5
