TRE® for Tension, Stress and Trauma Release: 5:00PM - 6:00PM

TRE® safely activates the body’s natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension and held stress and trauma, calming down the nervous system.

In a safe and controlled environment, a guided series of simple exercises and stretches is used to activate the body’s muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism. This process encourages the body’s natural reflex mechanism to return back to a state of balance and harmony.

TRE ® is helpful for letting go of symptoms of PTSD and other stress related issues. Benefits include: reducing symptoms of PTSD & C-PTSD, less worry and anxiety, more energy, increased flexibility, improved relationships, better sleep, reduced muscle tension and back pain, greater emotional resiliency and accelerated healing of old injuries.

Tai chi: 5:30PM - 6:30PM

Tai Chi is safe and easy to follow for beginners and all ages and fitness levels.

Offering a wide range of physical, mental and emotional benefits, this gentle form of exercise, especially suitable for older adults who otherwise may not exercise. Often described as meditation in motion, Tai Chi promotes serenity, inner peace and tranquility through gentle, flowing movements performed in a slow, focused manner accompanied by deep breathing.

Improved muscle tone, coordination, balance and good posture, are benefits of Tai Chi. Research also suggests that Tai Chi reduces falls in the elderly. It is considered an ideal form of exercise for people with either rheumatoid or osteoarthritis, as well as offering a wide range of other physical and emotional benefits.

Participants leave class with increased levels of relaxation, calmness and confidence.

*10/4*  Gentle Yoga for Beginners: 7:00PM - 8:00PM

Gentle yoga can improve your mood, relax you and can help reduce stress or negative emotions.

This class is especially suitable for beginners and others looking for a softer, slower practice that builds on a gentler sequence of poses.  We start by centering and mindfully exploring the breath which helps to balance and synchronize body and mind. Slow movements gently stretch your body: the muscles, the skin, even massaging organs and increasing blood flow into the areas needing it the most.

Class concludes with a period of deep relaxation; leaving us feeling relaxed, renewed and restored. This class is a great way to start your day with more energy or transition from a hectic day into a tranquil and restful evening.
