General Orientation: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Enhance Your resume to Land An Interview: 10:00AM -  12:00PM

There are so many conflicting resume recommendations out there.

• Should you keep it to one page?
• Do you put a summary up top?
• Do you include personal interests and volunteer opportunities?

This may be your best chance to make a good first impression, so you’ve got to get it right. In this workshop, George will walk you through the process one-step-at-a time in writing a resume that will respond to current recruitment strategies. Participants will learn:

• How to approach structuring an effective resume
• The principles and guidelines of an effective resume
• The do’s and don’ts of a resume
• How to focus a resume on your career that truly inspires and brings out the best in you
• What resume sections are a must and which ones are optiona

Finding Your Fit: 1:30PM - 2:30PM

Do you have a well-developed plan for marketing your career? This workshop will highlight how to tackle those challenges through career research and guide you through assessments. Finding your fit is a journey of self-discovery.
