Grundy Walking Club
You’re invited to join the Grundy Walking Club! Participants meet at 1:00 pm on the second and fourth Tuesday (March, April, May & June) for a one mile stroll around historic Bristol Borough.
Due to ongoing construction on the immediate Grundy Library property, the walk will begin and end from the Library's parking lot located at the corner of Dorrance and Radcliffe Streets; access to the lot is made via Dorrance Street. Remember to wear your sunscreen, face mask and comfortable shoes.
Escorted by a staff member, Club members will enjoy the scenery of the nearby Delaware River, and the benefits of fresh air and exercise in good company. We’ll be striding the very streets walked by industrialist and U.S. Senator Joseph R. Grundy; Michael Dougherty, a U.S. Medal of Honor winner; and Averell Harriman, a ship manufacturer and WWII U.S. diplomat.
Drop-in. A one-time 2022 signed waiver of participation is required to walk during these events; therefore, no pre-registration is required for a specific date. The waiver is available at each meeting date.
