Event box
Join us for an exciting OUTDOOR Family STEAM Program where science meets art! (weather permitting! If it rains, the program will be held indoors and limited to 35 participants) If outdoors, 50 participants. If the registrations are FULL, please register for the wait list. You will be notified via email if a space opens up for you.
This program will focus on Patterns in Nature.
Did you know there is a star in the middle of an apple?
Shapes and patterns in "nature's treasures" are fun to discover.
Join local author/illustrator, and lover of nature, Kim Kurki as she shares her collection of natural artifacts, such as seashells, pine cones, seed pods and many surprises, that inspire creativity in art and science.
This program includes activity sheets and opportunities to draw.
Bring your curiosity and imagination!
This Program is recommended for Teens/tweens and older(school-age) children rather than preschoolers since the activities may be a bit too challenging for the little ones!
