This presentation covers the history of unions, where and why they started, and how they evolved over the years to become very powerful and controlling. It will also cover some of the movies that dealt with unions like "On The Waterfront," "The Molly Maguires," "Silkwood," and "Norma Rae", as well as a few of Mr. Rubin's personal experiences with unions in Manhattan as a teenager and a young engineer working on Long Island.
